Luxury Event Decor
Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
This notice explains how Luxury Event Decor Wales Ltd uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us about an event. We are the controller for these activities. Our registered office is Unit 15b Hepworth Business Park, Coedcae Lane, Pontyclun, Wales, CF72 9FQ. Contact info@luxuryeventdecor.wales or 0333 77 20 698 with privacy questions.
Your enquiries
The enquiry builder uses your name, email address, phone number, occasion and any date, venue, guest count or message you choose to enter. It prepares a message on your device; it does not submit your form to a website database. We receive it only if you send the email. Your email service handles the message when you choose to send it.
We use information you send to respond by email or phone, discuss your requirements and prepare a quotation. Where you ask about booking our services, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. For other correspondence, our legitimate interest is answering questions and managing our business relationships. Providing information is voluntary, but we need contact details and sufficient event information to respond meaningfully. Please avoid sensitive personal information in your initial message.
Website usage and analytics
With your consent, PostHog measures page visits, referral domains, campaign labels, device and browser information, website speed and selected interactions such as opening FAQs, viewing galleries and preparing an enquiry. It uses a pseudonymous device identifier; this is not the same as anonymous information. Our analytics code excludes your enquiry contents, names and email addresses. Session recordings are disabled. Preparing an enquiry or opening an email app is measured as an interaction, not as a confirmed booking or delivered email.
Optional analytics relies on your consent. Choose “Reject analytics” to browse without it, or change your decision through “Analytics preferences” in any footer. Withdrawal stops future optional collection and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. See our cookie policy.
Hosting, videos and recipients
Our website hosting and delivery providers process connection information, including IP addresses and requested pages, to deliver and protect the service. Our legitimate interests are operating a reliable website and preventing misuse. Email and IT providers process correspondence so we can communicate with you. Our team accesses information as needed to handle your enquiry; professional advisers or authorities may receive it where necessary for legal matters or obligations.
PostHog receives the analytics described above only after you allow it. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced players load automatically to display video previews, but videos do not autoplay. When the players load, Google receives connection and device information and may use cookies or local storage under its privacy policy. Following an external link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.
Customer testimonials
We display selected excerpts from public Google reviews with the reviewer’s public display name and rating to help visitors assess our services. These testimonials are part of this website and do not load Google Maps Platform. Following the link to Google opens a separate service governed by Google’s privacy policy. Contact us with any question about a testimonial attributed to you.
International processing
Our PostHog project uses its EU hosting region. Provider support and subprocessors, and Google’s video services, may involve processing outside the UK. EU hosting alone does not mean all processing stays in the EU. PostHog’s published data processing agreement describes contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum; Google describes its transfer arrangements in its data transfer framework information. Contact us for information about the arrangements applying to your data or to request a copy of relevant safeguards.
How long information is kept
The website does not save your enquiry text in its own persistent storage. For correspondence we receive, retention depends on whether your enquiry is active, whether it leads to a booking, and whether records are needed for contractual, accounting or legal obligations or a dispute. Contact us to ask about a particular enquiry or request deletion. Analytics event retention is currently set to 12 months. Device storage and your choices are described in the cookie policy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. You can withdraw consent at any time. These rights have legal limits; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Explain your circumstances when contacting us so we can consider your request.
Email info@luxuryeventdecor.wales to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), including if you are unhappy with our response. This website does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Updates
We will update this notice when the website or the way we use information changes. The date above identifies this version.
